Standard Resistance:

and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnosis System.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral
Cable/Service and Repair/Removal
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK See: Restraints and Safety Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: AIRBAG SYSTEM: B1800/51-B1803/51: Short in Driver Side Squib Circuit
DESCRIPTION
* The driver side squib circuit consists of the center airbag sensor assembly, the spiral cable and the steering pad.
* The circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.
* These DTCs are recorded when a malfunction is detected in the driver side squib circuit.
